Iconic colors. A broad range of expression.
Our color palette allows us to create content with a range of tones—from institutional to creative and expressive.
Units should abide by these palettes and may not have independent identity palettes.
Like the proud King Husky, our core brand colors are black and white.
These colors set us apart from our competitors and create a clean background palette for the creative expressions of our brand.

Prestigious accents
We use gold when honoring prestigious accomplishments and the high caliber of the Northeastern brand needs to shine more explicitly.
It is reserved for special use and should be just 5% of the overall design where used. It is best used in metallic shades in physical formats.

User interface components (including focus indication and boundaries) and graphic objects should have a minimum ration of 3:1.
